In Memoriam: Cliff Treese

Yesterday, I learned of the passing of a Veteran that I met while doing my oral history work. His name is Cliff Treese, a US Marine who served in Vietnam. He was badly injured during his service but he did not let that injury limit or define him. Cliff was active with helping fellow Veterans and I bought one of his wonderful wood commemorative plaques. To learn more about Cliff Tresse, see his story here:

While I did not know him well, you could tell that Cliff impacted many people, mostly his fellow Veterans. In this way, Cliff has never left us but only moves on. It is not the things you leave behind, but your example, encouragement, and influence. Well done Cliff.
