Memorial Day Message

Below is a heartwarming message received this week from a donor to the Making History Project. This message is so perfectly timed and I need not say anything else:

I’m 82. I remember the war. This donation isn’t much, but it is from my heart. To the veterans—Thank you for a good life. Thank you for your bravery and sufferings. May God bless you and your family for all you’ve done for America but thank you the most that I have had the opportunity to live free. Thank you. I love you.

Resides in Miami, Florida, where he is a full-time mediator and has been a practicing lawyer since 1994. Proudly serves as a staff member for the University of Florida Samuel Proctor Oral History Program, in addition to being a member of the Oral History Association, American Historical Association; Friends and Family of the 508 P.I.R.; and the Battle of the Bulge Association. Graduated from Marquette University with a B.A. in Political Science, and a law degree from the University of Miami School of Law.
